Day 1 – Arrival In Nairobi

Nairobi | Overnight: Eka Hotel

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you will be met by your private representative and transferred to Eka Hotel Nairobi.

After check-in, enjoy time to relax following your international journey.

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool, fitness facilities, restaurant, or simply rest in preparation for the safari adventure ahead.

Your guide can provide a safari briefing and review the itinerary, border-crossing arrangements, and the exciting migration experiences ahead.

Day 2 – Nairobi → Lake Nakuru

Lake Nakuru National Park | Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge

After breakfast, depart Nairobi in your private safari vehicle and travel toward the spectacular Great Rift Valley.

Enjoy scenic views as the road descends through the escarpment toward Lake Nakuru National Park.

Upon arrival, begin your Lake Nakuru safari.

The park is known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes surrounding the alkaline lake. Keep watch for black and white rhinoceros, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, waterbuck, warthogs, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic or lodge lunch before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, proceed to Lake Nakuru Lodge, located within the park, for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3 – Lake Nakuru → Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara National Reserve | Overnight: Sentrim Mara Camp

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and continue toward the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Travel through the Kenyan countryside before entering the rolling grasslands of the Mara ecosystem.

Arrive around midday or early afternoon and check in at Sentrim Mara Camp.

After lunch and a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara.

During July–October, the Mara can host large concentrations of migrating wildebeest and zebra. The reserve is also famous for its resident wildlife and exceptional predator viewing.

Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, and hyenas.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner.

Day 4 – Full-Day Maasai Mara Migration Safari

After breakfast, venture deep into the reserve with your private safari guide.

The Mara plains can become particularly spectacular during July–October, when large herds of wildebeest and zebra may gather after entering Kenya from the Serengeti ecosystem.

Your guide will monitor the location of the herds and identify areas offering the best opportunities for wildlife viewing.

The Mara is also one of Africa’s premier predator habitats. Search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and other predators following the abundance of prey.

Day 5 – Maasai Mara & Mara River Region

Maasai Mara | Overnight: Sentrim Mara Camp

Today is dedicated to the Mara River and surrounding migration corridor.

Depart early with your private guide and travel toward the areas where migrating herds may be concentrated.

The Mara River is one of the most famous locations associated with the Great Migration. During the July–October season, wildebeest and zebra may gather along the riverbanks before attempting to cross.

River crossings are among Africa’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles, but they are also completely unpredictable. Herds may wait for hours or days, change direction, or cross at another point.

Your guide will therefore focus on the overall migration and wildlife experience rather than a guaranteed crossing.

The Mara River area is also excellent for viewing crocodiles, hippos, elephants, lions, and other resident wildlife.

Enjoy lunch in the reserve before continuing your afternoon safari.

Return to camp for your final night in Kenya.

Day 6 – Maasai Mara → Northern Serengeti, Tanzania

Northern Serengeti | Overnight: Untamed Migration Camp

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and begin your journey toward Tanzania.

Travel toward the Kenya–Tanzania border and complete the required immigration and customs procedures.

Once across the border, continue toward the Northern Serengeti.

As you enter Tanzania’s Serengeti ecosystem, the landscape opens into vast grasslands and rolling wilderness.

Continue your journey with opportunities for wildlife viewing en route. Depending on current migration movements, you may encounter wildebeest, zebra, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, antelope, and predators.

Arrive at Untamed Migration Camp, your base for the next two nights.

Enjoy dinner and your first evening in the Northern Serengeti wilderness.

Day 7 – Northern Serengeti Migration Safari

Northern Serengeti | Overnight: Untamed Migration Camp

Today is one of the key highlights of your journey.

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day Northern Serengeti migration safari.

Explore the Kogatende and Mara River region, monitoring the location of the migrating herds.

During July–October, large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra may move through this part of the Serengeti.

Your private guide will track current wildlife activity and select the best areas for exploration.

If herds are gathered near the river, you may have the opportunity to witness a dramatic river crossing. However, crossings are entirely dependent on animal behavior and cannot be guaranteed.

The Northern Serengeti is also home to abundant resident wildlife and predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your game drive into the afternoon.

Day 8 – Northern → Central Serengeti

Central Serengeti | Overnight: Tukaone Hembe Camp

Wake early for a final morning game drive in the Northern Serengeti.

Continue south toward the Central Serengeti, with wildlife viewing forming an important part of today’s journey.

The landscape changes as you travel through different habitats, including open plains, rocky kopjes, grasslands, and woodland.

Keep watch for wildlife along the route, including elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, antelope, lions, and other predators.

Continue to Tukaone Hembe Camp, where you will settle into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 1 - Arusha – Arusha National Park

In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdoto Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park.
