Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your private safari representative and transferred in comfort to Gran Meliá Arusha, one of the city’s premier luxury hotels.

After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Relax at the hotel, unwind by the pool, enjoy the lush gardens, or simply recover from your journey before your safari adventure begins

Day 2 – Arusha → Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha with your private safari guide and drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and diverse wildlife.

Enter the park and begin your first game drive. The landscape provides excellent opportunities to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelope, and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also spot predators such as lions and leopards.

Day 3 – Full-Day Tarangire Safari

Day 4 – Tarangire → Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti is renowned for its vast open plains, abundant wildlife, and the annual Great Migration. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may witness large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra, as well as predators following them.

Continue to One Nature Nyaruswiga, your luxury Serengeti camp, for dinner and an evening surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 5 – Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Serengeti National Park.

Set out after breakfast for a full-day private safari. With your experienced guide, explore the plains, river areas, kopjes, and wildlife-rich regions of the park.

The Serengeti is home to extraordinary concentrations of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, wildebeest, zebra, and many species of antelope.

Depending on the time of year, your guide will focus on areas where wildlife and, potentially, the Great Migration can best be experienced.

Enjoy a picnic or bush lunch during your safari before continuing your exploration until later in the afternoon. Return to One Nature Nyaruswiga for dinner and relaxation.

Day 6 – Serengeti Safari & Optional Hot-Air Balloon

After landing, enjoy a traditional champagne-style bush breakfast, before continuing your safari by vehicle.

For guests who choose not to participate in the balloon experience, a private early-morning game drive can be arranged instead. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the Serengeti with your private guide.

Day 9 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Today you descend into the extraordinary Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.

After an early breakfast, drive down the crater walls into the approximately 600-meter-deep caldera. The crater floor contains a remarkable variety of habitats, supporting large concentrations of wildlife.

During your private crater safari, look for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and numerous species of birds. The Ngorongoro Crater is also one of the places where travelers have a chance of encountering the endangered black rhinoceros.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your exploration.

Later, ascend the crater and return to your luxury lodge for your final evening in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit
