Gecko Adventures is a Tanzanian safari specialist and tour operator, offering a full service for arranging and booking safaris, hotel bookings, mountain climbing expeditions, transfers, meet & greet, visa assistance and beach holidays throughout Tanzania. We are proud to offer our clients financial protection through our TATO (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators) membership. It runs operations locally out of its offices in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania and representatives in Zanzibar and Arusha.

In addition, safari travel is always in comfortable 4×4 safari vehicles, often combined with internal flights to cut down on driving time.

We are ethically minded and, as such, we place the utmost importance on ensuring that our staff, especially our guides are well paid and looked after. We also take pride in our vehicle fleet and well maintained; consequently, breakdowns and other mechanical complications while you are on safari will be rare.
Our Staff
Gecko Adventure recruits its staff based on their experience in the tourism industry, in-depth knowledge and the love for Africa, careful attention to detail, and friendly approach. Our dedicated and cohesive team of locals has strong foreign-language capabilities and the experience to be sensitive to cultural differences.
