Selous Camping Safari in Nyerere National Park – Private Bush Adventure

Experience the raw beauty of the African wilderness on a 5-day camping safari in Selous Game Reserve, now part of Nyerere National Park, Tanzania’s largest protected area. Perfect for travelers seeking a secluded, authentic safari away from tourist crowds, this adventure includes private mobile camping, boat safaris, walking tours, and game drives in one of Africa’s most untamed regions.

What’s included in the 5-day Selous camping safari package?

The package includes round-trip transport from Dar es Salaam, all park fees, private tented accommodation, meals, walking safaris, boat safari, and guided game drives.

The dry season from June to October is ideal for wildlife viewing, especially for spotting predators and large mammals at water sources.

Yes, it’s great for first-time safari-goers seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience. With expert guides and mobile camping, it offers immersion without compromising safety or comfort.

While Selous is home to four of the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, and leopard), rhinos are rarely seen. However, Selous is known for wild dogs and large predator sightings.

This is a true bush camping safari — no crowds, no luxury lodges, just you, your guide, and nature. It’s ideal for adventurous travelers craving solitude and authentic encounters.
