DAY 1

Nairobi to Lake Bogoria – Rift Valley Viewpoint & Hot Springs Walk

Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Journey northwest, pausing at the stunning Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photo opportunities.
Continue with a picnic lunch stop at Lanet Matfam before heading to Lake Bogoria National Reserve, famous for its hot springs and thousands of flamingos. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to the geothermal springs, spot wildlife like gazelles and warthogs, and take in the lush forest scenery.

DAY 2

Lake Bogoria to Lake Nakuru National Park – Birdwatching & Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, known globally as a bird lover’s paradise with up to 400 species, including vast flocks of flamingos.
Enjoy a morning game drive upon entry, followed by lunch at the lodge. Your afternoon game drive (starting at 4:00 PM) will explore acacia woodlands, grasslands, and dramatic cliff edges. Keep an eye out for endangered Rothschild giraffes, black and white rhinos, cape buffaloes, and leopards.

DAY 3

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha – Cycling & Walking Safari at Hell’s Gate

Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha, then continue to Hell’s Gate National Park, one of the few parks in Kenya where cycling and walking safaris are allowed.
Choose between a guided bike ride through the gorge or a vehicle game drive. At the ranger’s post, switch to a walking safari through the dramatic Hell’s Gate Gorge, passing geysers, cliffs, and wildlife like giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, and antelopes.

DAY 4

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara – Scenic Drive & Evening Big Five Game Drive

After breakfast, drive southwest to Masai Mara National Reserve via Narok town. Arrive in time for lunch at your safari lodge or tented camp.
In the evening, embark on your first Masai Mara game drive, where you’ll likely spot members of the Big Five—elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and possibly rhinos—along with countless antelopes, zebras, and giraffes.

DAY 5

Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara – Wildlife Viewing & Optional Maasai Village Visit

Enjoy a full-day game drive in Masai Mara, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in the world. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration—millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing the plains from the Serengeti.
Visit the Mara River, home to crocodiles and hippos. Optional: take a cultural tour of a local Maasai village to learn about their age-old customs and lifestyle.
