7 Days Rough Camping Trip – Mikumi & Ruaha. Camping in the Bush provides an unparalleled experience of Africa and it is one of the best undiscovered Africa adventures. Camping immerses you in the bush, brings you closer to the wildlife and wild Africa experience. Book with us your camping safari.

  • TOUR PROGRAM

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi

Starts Early morning drive to Mikumi, arriving at lunch then continuing with game drive. Overnight at Camp site

Day 2: Mikumi National Park

Full day game drive in Mikumi or two half day game drive on camp site.
Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs.

Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety.

Day 3: Drive to Iringa from Mikumi

After breakfast, driving to Iringa, beautiful scenery, mountains, rivers, plain ,agricultural land and people with culture makes even great drives to Iringa. Check in at Neema craft Guest house. In the evening , visit the Isimila Stone age.

Day 4: Drive to Ruaha National Park

Breakfast, after drive to Ruaha National Park, game drive on arrival.
Overnight at Camp site at Ifuguru special camping site

Day 5 & 6: Ruaha National Park

Early morning game drive, afternoon break and evening drive. Overnight at campsite

Day 7: Fly from Ruaha

Early morning game drive then breakfast, drive to the airstrip for the flight to Dar, Mafia or Zanzibar.
