Witness One of the Greatest Wildlife Spectacles on Earth: The Great Migration in Tanzania

This expertly curated 7-day Great Migration safari in Tanzania takes you through the heart of the Northern Circuit, covering Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and multiple regions of Serengeti National Park. Depending on the travel season, your camp locations will be carefully selected to offer the best chance of seeing wildebeest river crossings, predator action, and the Big Five.

When is the best time to see the Serengeti wildebeest migration?

The Great Migration is a year-round cycle:
Calving Season (Jan–Mar): Southern Serengeti
Mara River Crossings (July–Oct): Northern Serengeti
Central Serengeti (Nov–Dec / Apr–June): Resident game and transitional herds

Yes, we tailor the route and camps based on the seasonal movement of the herds to maximize your chances of witnessing migration events.

It can be arranged as either. Private safaris allow more flexibility with timing and routing, while small group departures offer cost savings.
