DAY 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara – Scenic Drive via Rift Valley & Afternoon Safari
Your safari begins at 7:30 AM with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. Travel southwest toward the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning panoramic photos.
Arrive in Masai Mara by early afternoon, check in at your lodge or tented camp, and enjoy a hot lunch. Later, set off on your first game drive, with a chance to spot elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and possibly even lions before sunset.
Overnight: Masai Mara Lodge or Tented Camp

Note: The final stretch to Masai Mara is a rough, corrugated road. If you have back issues, consider booking a fly-in safari to Masai Mara.
DAY 2-3
Full-Day Game Drives in Masai Mara – Big Five & Great Migration Viewing
These two days are dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara. You have two options for your game drive schedule, tailored to your preference:
Option A: Depart at 9:00 AM after breakfast for a full-day safari with packed lunch, returning to the lodge by 6:00 PM.
Option B: Begin early at 6:00 AM for a sunrise game drive, return for breakfast, relax at the lodge, and then go out again for an afternoon safari with lunch in the park.
Your guide will help track wildlife including lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and possibly leopards. If you’re traveling during July–October, you may witness the Great Migration in action.

DAY 4
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Transfer & Optional Game Drive
Start the morning with an optional short game drive at sunrise, then return to your lodge for breakfast and check out around 10:00 AM. Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 5.5 hours).
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and relax. If time allows, you may go on an optional afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru, depending on your next day’s travel plans.

Note: If you’re continuing to Amboseli or elsewhere, the morning game drive in Masai Mara may be skipped to allow an earlier arrival in Nakuru for afternoon wildlife viewing.
DAY 5
Lake Nakuru National Park Safari – Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out with packed lunch and proceed for a morning safari in Lake Nakuru, a UNESCO-listed bird sanctuary. Spot white and black rhinos, flamingos, Rothschild giraffes, and tree-climbing lions.
By 2:00 PM, depart for Nairobi, arriving at your hotel or the airport by 5:30 PM, concluding your unforgettable 5-day Kenya safari.
