This 4-day safari to Gombe Stream National Park offers a rare and intimate wildlife experience in one of Tanzania’s most iconic conservation areas. Gombe is world-renowned for its wild chimpanzee populations, made famous by Dr. Jane Goodall’s pioneering research that began in 1960. Visitors trek deep into the lush tropical forest to observe chimpanzee families in their natural habitat.
Beyond chimpanzee tracking, Gombe’s forest is home to a rich diversity of primates, including red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons, as well as forest pigs and dik-dik. The park also boasts exceptional birdlife, scenic hiking trails, waterfalls, and the tranquil shores of Lake Tanganyika, making it a truly immersive nature and wildlife experience.
