DAY 1
Fly from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma – Transfer by Boat to Gombe Stream National Park
Start your adventure with a morning pickup from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight to Kigoma. Upon arrival, head to Kibirizi Port for a scenic 2-hour private boat ride on Lake Tanganyika to reach Gombe National Park.
After lunch at your forest camp, venture into the jungle for an afternoon chimpanzee tracking experience, guided by local experts. Witness the behavior of wild chimpanzee families as they forage, play, and interact in the treetops.

DAY 2
Full-Day Chimpanzee Tracking in Gombe – Visit Kakombe Waterfall and Jane’s Peak
After an early breakfast, begin a full-day chimpanzee tracking expedition deep into Gombe’s rainforest, home to Jane Goodall’s world-renowned research project.
Besides chimpanzees, look out for Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and baboons along the trails. You’ll also have time to hike to the scenic Kakombe Waterfall and climb to Jane’s Peak for panoramic views over the forest and Lake Tanganyika.
Return to your tented camp in the evening for a well-deserved rest.

Boat Transfer to Kigoma – Fly Back to Dar es Salaam
